Sending an enquiry does not create a therapeutic relationship and does not oblige either of us to proceed. I aim to respond to every enquiry personally within one working day. Enquiries are not monitored continuously and should never be used to communicate urgent risk.
If we agree to work together, the terms of that work — fees, session length and frequency, cancellation terms, confidentiality and its limits — are set out in a separate working agreement, discussed and confirmed in writing before therapy begins. That agreement governs the therapy; these website terms do not.
For clarity, as things stand: sessions are sixty minutes; the fee is £300 per session, including the initial consultation; and cancellation requires 48 hours’ notice, after which the full fee is payable.
The initial consultation fee is payable in advance to secure the appointment and is refunded in full if, at that first meeting, the work is assessed as not the right fit.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (membership number 00973750) and work within its Ethical Framework. If you are unhappy with any aspect of my work, please raise it with me first — I would rather know. If it cannot be resolved, you may complain to the BACP directly.
